The girls' track team placed first out of 18 teams at Saturday's Strasburg Invitational.  The boys' team placed 7th overall.  Event winners for the Colonels included Emma Hammond in the triple jump with a school-record leap of 37'04", and Mackenzie Konyar in the 1600 meter run (5:28.05, #10 on all-time list), Rene Rosso won silver in all three jumps--high, triple, and long--and bronze in both the 100 and 300 meter hurdle events. Chris Vitagliano added a silver in the boys' long jump, and the boys' 4 x 100 relay also took second.  Full results can be found at milestat.com under "results."
