James Wood varsity softball improved to 7-0 on the season with a 15-0 win at North Hagerstown 15-0 in five innings. Lani Spielman pitched all 5 shutout innings, striking out 7 and only allowing one hit. Lauren King was 3-3 with 2 RBIs, Rebecca Boone was 3-3 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 2 RBIs, Lani Spielman was 3-3 with 4 RBIs, and Lindsey Anderson was 2-4 with a double and an RBI.

The JV and varsity softball teams will travel to Sherando on Thursday with both games at 6:00 PM in Sherando Park.
