A 7th-inning rally fell short as Clarke County beat James Wood in varsity softball on Monday night, 9-8.  It was the second straight game that the Colonels came from behind with the tying run on 3rd and winning run on second in the bottom of the 7th.  Lauren King pitched 4 innings with 5 strikeouts and was 2-4 at the plate with an RBI.  Camryn Rizzari was 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and Lani Spielman was 2-3 with a home run and 3 RBI.   James Wood is 15-3 on the season and will host Skyline for Senior Night on Wednesday at 6:00 PM before closing out the regular season at home next Monday at Handley.
