The James Wood golf team placed 4th in Monday's Northwestern District Mini #2 at Fauquier Springs Golf Club.  Senior Tyler Mounts finished second overall with a 72 score for the 18 holes. Jackson Lynch and Carson Baker both shot 87s.  Kettle Run placed first with 325, Sherando was second with 328, Fauquier was third at 333, and the Colonels had a team score of 342.  The team finished 4th in the overall regular season standings with Fauquier winning the title and an automatic Region 4A-C berth.  The team hosts Handley on Thursday at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club starting at 4:00 PM.
