The Colonels golf team used Monday's local match at Blue Ridge Shadows as a final tune-up before Wednesday's Northwestern District Championship.  James Wood squeaked out a one-stroke win over Sherando, shooting 174 to Sherando's 175.  Handley placed third with 177, followed by Skyline and Warren County with 195 each and Millbrook at 203.  Senior Tyler Mounts was the individual winner with an even par 36 for the nine-hole play.  The NWD Championship will be at Fauquier Springs Country Club starting at 9:30 AM.
