The James Wood golf team finshed 3rd in Wednesday’s Northwestern District Championships at Fauquier Springs Golf Club.  Kettle Run edged Fauquier 321-322 for the team title, with the Colonels scoring 336.  Other team scores were Sherando (340), Handley (360), Liberty (393), and Millbrook (399). The top three teams advance to the Region 4A-C Championship next Thursday in Purcellville.  Tyler Mounts led the Colonels with an 80 to tie for 5th individually, followed by Carson Baker (83), Jacob Karen (86), and Logan Harper (87).
