The Northwestern District selected its all-district teams in volleyball and football last week, and several James Wood players were recognized. Voting for all-district teams is conducted by the seven head coaches of the district teams.  

In volleyball, junior Jessica Putnam (outside hitter) earned first-team honors, while junior Yeakley Pullen (libero) and senior Morgan Biggs (middle) received second team recognition.  In football, sophomore William Crowder (kick returner) and senior Dominic Revetta (offensive and defensive lines) were second team. Receiving honorable mention were Jordan Loy, Jacob Sortino, Luke Roy, and Luke Esparza.
