The boys' swim team opened its season with a 78-34 win over Liberty on Saturday at the Jim Barnett Park War Memorial Building. Individual winners included David Dorsey (200-meter freestyle in 2:21.21, 400 free in 5:07.82), Brian Hua (100 butterfly in 1:04.46, 100 breaststroke in 1:20.17), Daniel Woodrum (200 IM in 3:06.11), Keeyan McDonald (100 free in 1:26.39), and Seth Amos (100 backstroke in 2:06.61)

The girls also defeated Liberty by a team score of 94-67. Individuals winners included Kimberly Warnagins (200 free in 2:20.06, 100 butterfly in 1:11.46), Grace Lilly (400 free in 5:55.25), Rachel Cavanagh (100 backstroke in 1:29.27), and Eleanor Armel (100 breaststroke in 1:45.22).
