The Colonels girls' basketball team improved to 7-1 on the season with a 69-39 win at Strasburg on Thursday.  Sophomore Makayla Firebaugh scored 36 and added 4 rebounds and 7 steals defensively to lead the team on both sides of the ball. Amber Wooldridge scored 21 and added 6 assists, while Emma VanHorn and Brenna Prunty scored 4 each.   Jenny Kerns contributed 7 steals, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds.

The girls' team will participate in the Boonsboro Holiday Tournament December 27 and 28.
