The James Wood girls' basketball team defeated Fauquier 58-29 on Tuesday night to advance to the Northwestern District semifinal round.  Amber Wooldridge led the Colonels with 20 points, Makayla Firebaugh had 14 along with 7 rebounds, and Donyell Sloane scored 10 to go with 7 rebounds.
The girls will travel to Liberty on Thursday with game time at 6:00 PM.   All tournament games are $6.00 admission.
