James Wood beat Kettle Run 6-0 in their first district matchup of the 2018 season. Lani Spielman started and went 3 and 2/3 innings with 6 k's allowing only two hits. Ivy Rosenberry pitched 3 1/3 innings in relief with 6 k's and allowing only one hit. Leading the Colonels at the plate was Lindsey Anderson (1-1 with 2 walks) and Ivy Rosenberry (1-2 with 2 walks). Rebecca Boone was 2-4 with one rbi. Lani Spielman and Camryn Rizzari each had rbi singles. The JV and varsity teams will host Spring Mills on Saturday with game times at 12:00 and 2:00.
