The boys' and girls' cross country teams hosted a Northwestern District quad meet against Fauquier, Liberty, and Sherando on Wednesday evening. The boys won their race with Ethan Pierce leading the team with a 4th place finish, followed by Dalton Krossman in 5th, Nathan Shade in 7th, Luke Matthews in 8th, and Nathaniel Woshner in 9th to round out team scorers. Jimmy Burdock followed closely in 10th and Colin Staneart placed 11th.

The girls finished 2nd in their race, only 4 points back from Fauquier. They were led by Elena Farinholt in 2nd, Kenzie Konyar in 3rd, Haley Witt in 5th, Brooke Sandy in 9th, and Shannon Mulvaney in 11th.

The teams will compete in the Hampshire Invitational this Saturday.
