The varsity and JV girls' basketball teams both opened their seasons with wins over Clarke County on Friday.  Varsity won 60-36, and the JVs won 38-14.  Brenna Prunty led the Colonels with 20 points and 4 rebounds, and Mikayla Firebaugh added 19 points and 3 rebounds.  Berkeley Frank and Jenny Kerns scored 6 each.  The teams will travel to Strasburg on Thursday night.
