James Wood High School Names New Volleyball Coach
James Wood High School has named Jaime Terenzi its new volleyball coach. Terenzi, who
served as the head volleyball coach at Shenandoah University from 2010-2018, succeeds P.W.
Hillyard. Hillyard resigned in December 2018 after leading the Lady Colonels for three seasons.
Prior to serving as Shenandoah University’s head volleyball coach, Terenzi spent nearly two
years serving as the head volleyball coach and assistant athletic director at Newbury College in
Massachusetts. She is also a co-founder and coach with the Blue Ridge Volleyball Association.
Terenzi says, “I’m looking forward to joining the James Wood High School family and working
to build upon the school’s outstanding volleyball program. Thanks to my involvement with the Blue
Ridge Volleyball Association, I’m familiar with many of the players who will be returning to James
Wood next year as well as those who will be moving up from the middle school level. I can’t wait to
get into the gym and begin working with the girls in preparation for the upcoming season.”
James Wood High School Coordinator of Student Activities Craig Woshner says, “Coach
Terenzi is passionate about volleyball and working with student athletes. She possesses a great deal
of knowledge and experience which will serve her well as she transitions to her new role as the leader
of our volleyball program.”
