James Wood had six athletes compete this past weekend at the VHSL 4A State Indoor Track & Field Championships at Roanoke College. Performed included:

• Brooke Sandy earned all-state honors with a 3rd place finish in the Girls' High Jump
• Drake Tews earned all-state honors with a 4th place finish in the Boys' High Jump
• Logan Owens finished 9th in the  Boys' Triple Jump
• Kenzie Konyar finished 12th in the  Girls' 3200m Run
• Audrey Sandy finished 14th in the Girls' High Jump
• Chance Grove finished 15th in the  Boys' Shot Put
