Senior tandem Lily Kimble and Morgan Burner captured the Northwestern District doubles tennis championship on Thursday. They entered the tournament as the #3 seed and had to defeat #2 Sherando in the semifinals and then the top-seeded doubles from Fauquier in tie-breaker play to win the title.  Kimble and Burner advance to Monday's Region 4C semifinal where they will face the Dulles District runner-up doubles team from Loudoun County High School.  The regional singles and doubles tournament will be held at Handley High School at 2:00 PM.
