The James Wood golf team got the 2019-20 sports year off to a good start with a 3rd-place finish at the Northwestern District mini-tournament on Monday at Fauquier Springs Golf Club.  Kettle Run won the competition with a team score of 319, followed by Fauquier with 332 and Wood with 349.  Top peformers for the Colonels were Jackson Lynch who shot an 82 for the 18 hole course, and Drew Johnson who fired an 87.  Full team results are provided below. The Colonels will compete in the annual Curly Licklider Tournament at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club on Wednesday.
