The varsity football team will open its season on Friday, August 30 when the Colonels host the Sherando Warriors with kickoff at 7:05 PM. The game will be preceded by the field naming ceremony after legendary James Wood coach Walter Barr. A large crowd is expected this evening so please plan to arrive early. Ticket booths will open at 5:15 PM . Ticket price is $5.00 and exact change is recommended. Advance tickets may be purchased in the James Wood main office on Wednesday and Thursday. Yearly passes may also be purchased in advance in the main or Athletics Office or at the ticket booth on game night. Come out and cheer on YOUR James Wood Colonels as they take on the Warriors!
