The James Wood varsity volleyball team defeated Handley 3-1 on Thursday night to wrap up a successful regular season. The team finished with a record of 18-2, with the only losses coming to cross-county rival Millbrook. The win secured the team the #2 seed in next week's Conference 21 West tournament. The team will have a bye on Monday and will then host the winner of the Handley-Harrisonburg match on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the semifinal round.  Admission price is $6.00 for all Conference 21 West playoff events.  Woodgrove will host Sherando in Monday's other quarterfinal matchup, with the winner playing at Millbrook on Wednesday.
