The Boys' and Girls' Indoor Track & Field teams opened their season Sherando Polar Bear meet on Wednesday. The boys finished 2nd overall and the girls finish tied for 4th with team standings with many top athletes not competing.

Notable performances included:

• Audrey Sandy won the High Jump.
• Blake Sandy won the High Jump with a region-qualifying jump of 5' 9". That jump is #4 on the all-time James Wood indoor record list.
• Logan Owens was 2nd in the 55m Hurdles with a region-qualifying time of 8.51 seconds.
• Will Crowder won the 55m Dash with a state-qualifying time of 6.57 seconds, which also set a new school record.
• The 4x200m Relay team of Mi'keguel Franklin, Logan Owens, Jack Serio, & Will Crowder won their race with a region-qualifying time of 1:36.73, which also established a new school record. 
• Mi'keguel Franklin won the 300m Dash.
• Liam McDonald won the 1000m Run.

Select team members will compete at Liberty University on Saturday.
