VHSL Announces 2019 Class 4 All-State Girls Volleyball Team
Loudoun County’s Olivia Mallow selected Player of the Year; Loudoun County’s John Senchak named Coach of the Year
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — The Virginia High School League 2019 Class 4 all-state girls volleyball teams have been selected. Loudoun County senior middle hitter Olivia Mallow was selected Class 4 Player of the Year and Loudoun County head coach John Senchak was named Class 4 Coach of the Year. Loudoun County captured its eighth straight, and VHSL record 12th overall volleyball title in the past 13 years, with a 3-0 win over Grafton in the Class 4 finals. Other teams will be announced as they are selected.
For James Wood, Kristyna Van Sickler was a 2nd-Team selection.
VHSL All-State Volleyball teams are selected in each classification. Each classification selects eight players regardless of position, plus a libero and defensive specialist.
