The varsity girls' basketball team lost a close game at Skyline on Monday night, 51-44. The Colonels were without #2 all-time scorer Mikayla Firebaugh, who is currently out with an ankle injury. Brenna Prunty led all scorers with 17 points and Emma Bursey added 11. The girls are back in action tonight when they host the Fauquier Falcons.

The boys' varsity team lost a closely contested game to the Hawks, 54-53. Leading the Colonels in scoring  was Jerome McCarthy with 12 points, Tyrome McCarthy added, and Lavaughan Freeman scored 8 to go along with 8 rebounds. The Colonels play at Fauquier tonight. 

The JV boys' team lost their game 46-41. Leading the Colonels in scoring was Josh Borromeo with 11 points, Jacob Manuel and Cole Stowers had 9 each, and Chris Morrison scored 8. 

The JV girls' team fell 36-32.
