Members of the Indoor Track & Field team competed this past Saturday at the Liberty HS Opener Invitational at Liberty University. Notable individual performances at the meet included:

• Will Crowder was 6th of 89 runners in the 55m Dash. Will already holds the school record and was only .05 seconds off of that record. He was also 24th of 83 runners in the 300m Dash. His time of 38.38 seconds places him #3 all-time at James Wood and is only .5 seconds from a regional-qualifying time.

• Makenzie Konyar finished 4th of 28 runners in the 3200 meter run. Her time of 11:34.99 is a new school record and is a state-qualifying time.

• Lauren Beatty finished 5th of 28 runners in the 3200. Her time of 11:37.54 puts her #2 all-time at James Wood, and it is a state-qualifying time.

• Audrey Sandy tied for 6th in the High Jump. Her jump of 4’ 10” is a state-qualifying mark.

• Nathaniel Woshner finished 15th of 38 runners in the 3200 meter with a regional-qualifying time of 10:04.41.

• Liam McDonald finished 5th of 47 runners in the Boys’ 1000m Run. His time of 2:43.72 puts him #3 all-time at James Wood and was only .37 seconds from a regional qualifying time.
