The varsity girls' basketball team put on an offensive show Friday night in beating Handley 94-27. Makayla Firebaugh scored 33 of her record-breaking 44 points in the 1st half. This breaks her own record of 41 set last year. She also hit seven 3-pointers which ties the record for most 3’s in a game. Freshman Brynna Nesselrodt hit four 3-pointers and finished with 19 points. Brenna Prunty rounded out the double digit scoring with 15 points. Olivia Miller and Jenna Burkhammer both scored 4 points. Emma Bursey made 1 3-pointer to give the team a total of 12 3-pointers for the game.
The Lady Colonels are back in action Tuesday night when they host Liberty. JV’s play at 6 and the varsity will follow at 7:30.
