The girls' basketball team fell to Millbrook in the district championship game, 51-41. The Colonels had a 10-point lead in the first half and led by as much as 6 in the second half, but the Pioneers rallied in the 4th quarter to pull away. Makayla Firebaugh led the girls with 12 points. Brenna Prunty had 9 points and Brooklyn Crate finished with 7 points. Brynna Nesselrodt scored 5 points and Jenny Kerns had 4. Sue Carter and Olivia Miller rounded out the scoring with 2 points each.

The Colonels are back in action next Tuesday when they travel to Loudoun Valley for the first round of the 4C regional playoffs. Tip is 6:00 PM.
