The James Wood volleyball team fell to the Jamestown Eagles 3-0 in Tuesday's 4A state quarterfinal match. The Colonels fell behind early in game one at 6-0 but rallied to pull to within four late before falling 25-19.  Wood held a 20-16 lead in game two but the Eagles went on a 9-1 run to take game two, 25-21.  The Colonels could not overcome mistakes and a tough Jamestown front line as they fell 25-19 in game three. The Colonels finish the season with a record of 22-4.
