The varsity boys' basketball team pulled out a hard fought 59-56 win over Millbrook at home on Wednesday night. Leading the Colonels in scoring for the second consecutive night was Carson Baker with a Career high 17 points and 9 rebounds. Cole Stowers had 10 points and Jaden Ashby scored to help the Colonels pull out the win.
The JV boys' team also secured a close game over Millbrook, 45-42. Josh Borromeo lead the Colonels for the 4th time in 5 games with 26 points and added 6 assists. Josh has 63 points, 12 assists, and 15 rebounds this week alone. Blake Corbin and Zach Smith added 7 points each and the JV team improved to 3-2 on the season.
The Lady Colonels lost another tough game last night, 46-65, at Millbrook. Brooklyn Crate led in scoring with 26 points. Ellie Nichols scored 6 points and had 10 rebounds. Rounding out the scoring were Sarah Costin with 6 points, Gabby Valentinetti with 4 points, and Emma Grace Bursey with 4 points.
The ladies are back in action tonight as they travel to Spring Mills, WV. Game time is 7:30. All four teams travel to Jefferson on Saturday.
