The JV boys' basketball team won its fourth consecutive game, beating Sherando at home on Wednesday night 42-39. Leading the Colonels in scoring was Josh Borromeo with 14 points, Ben Tollok with 8 points, and Brandon Waters with 6 points. The JV team is 5-2 on the season.
The varsity team lost to Sherando on Senior Night 72-47. Jacob Medina led the Colonels with 12 points, Kaden Spaid had 9 points, and Connor Ballentine and Jayson Herndon each had 8 points.
The Lady Colonels lost another tough game last night at Sherando, 51-39. Gabby Valentinetti was the high scorer in the game with 18 points. Emma Grace Bursey had 9 points, Brooklyn Crate had 5, Aubrey Grove had 4 points and 7 rebounds, and Caitlyn Shutts had 3 points. The girls' JV team won 30-17.
The girls' teams will host Millbrook on Thursday night at 6:00 and 7:30, while the boys travel to Millbrook with games at 5:30 and 7:00.
