For the first time in over 15 years, Frederick County high schools will increase athletic ticket prices to $6.00 for all regular season games. This price change reflects the increasing costs of operations for equipment, officials, event staff, and facility improvements.
For James Wood High School, there will be NO cash sales, continuing the policy established last school year as a result of COVID protocols. Individual game tickets will be available on the GoFan site for James Wood. For fans without a mobile smart device, they will be able to purchase tickets at the game entrance using a credit card. It is highly recommended that fans purchase tickets in advance to avoid delays at the game entrance. There is a service fee attached to all ticket sales.
Individual sport season passes will be available for purchase at a reduced rate which will offset most of the cost increase and service fees as compared to single-game purchases. Plans include:
Adult spring athletic pass, $60 (purchase at JWHS), good for all events
Student spring athletic pass, $30 (purchase at JWHS), good for all events
JV or Varsity Baseball, $50 (10 games each) + service fee
JV or Varsity Softball, $45 (9 games each) + service fee
Girls' or Boys' Soccer, $55 ( games) + service fee
Girls' or Boys' Soccer, $40 (8 games) + service fee
Game tickets and passes will be posted on the JWHS GoFan page soon. You can link to the GoFan site directly from the athletic website home page.
