The boys' and girls' cross country teams competed in the 18-team Central Invitational on Saturday in Woodstock, VA. The boys team placed first, led by senior Nathaniel Woshner who was the overall winner of the race in 15:59 for the 3-mile course. Sophomore Ethan Pratt-Perez was 3rd overall, senior Liam McDonald was 5th, and junior Jacob Oliver was 9th. The girls' team placed second, missing first by just one point. They were led by senior Lauren Beatty who was second overall and covered the 3 mile distance in 18:42. Seniors Isabella Newman and Elena Farinholt placed 9th and 12th, respectively.
The teams compete in the Brunswick, MD Invitational next Saturday.
