The James Wood golf team defeated Fauquier (170) and Liberty (204) by shooting 160 on the blue 9 at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club on Monday.  Caden Ganczak and Braeden Crawford led the Colonels by shooting top scores of 39's.  Rounding out the scoring was Brayden Rockwell with 40 and Luke Davis and Drake Reese, both with 42s.

The Colonels will compete in the Northwestern District Championship next Monday at Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Club. The Colonels enter the tournament as the #2 seed in the district with the top three teams from the championship advancing to the Region 4C Championship.
