JV and Varsity volleyball both pulled off wins last night against Independence High School.   JV won 2-0 with set scores of 25-17, 25-13. Varsity won 3-1 with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 21-25, 28-26. Leading the Colonels was Katey Matthews with 8 kills, 19 assists, 6 digs and 3 aces. Lexi Taylor added 7 kills, Izzy Turner had 6 kills, and Addie Pitcock had 6 kills and 5 aces. Carsyn Vincent had 17 digs.

Both teams are 5-3 for the season. The varsity team travels to Liberty on Tuesday, and both teams host Millbrook on Thursday night.
