James Wood Volleyball beat Liberty last night in the Northwestern District quarterfinal round. The Colonels won in 3 sets, 25- 15, 25-16, 25-15. Leaders on the team in kills were Melia Burch 13, while Lexi Taylor, Addie Pitcock and Ella Kelchner all had 6 kills a piece. Katey Matthews and Hannah McCullough both had 17 assists. Katey Matthews also had 6 aces and Carsyn Vincent had 20 digs.

James Wood hosts Sherando on Tuesday in the semifinals with game time at 6:00 PM.  The winner will advance to the championship game on Thursday.
