James Wood volleyball beat Sherando last night in the Northwestern District semifinals, 3-1. Set scores were 17-25, 25-22, 25-20, 26-24. Leading the Colonels in kills was Lexi Taylor with 9 and Katey Matthews with 8. Katey also had 18 assists while Hannah McCullough had 16. Carsyn Vincent had 21 digs and 4 aces. The victory will advance the Colonels to the championship game at Millbrook on Thursday with start time at 6:00.
