The boys’ cross country team placed 3rd in Tuesday’s Region 4C Championships and will advance to their 3rd straight state championship meet. Nathaniel Woshner was 3rd overall in 15:43, while Ethan Pratt Perez (6th) and Liam McDonald (9th) also earned all-Region. The girls’ team placed 4th, just three points out of qualifying for states. Lauren Beatty placed 9th to earn All-Region and earn a spot in states, and Elena Farinholt also advanced as an individual.
The VHSL 4A State Championship will be held on Saturday, November 13 at Great Meadow near Warrenton.
