The Colonels girls' basketball team, coming off a Friday road win at St. Maria Goretti, was able to pick up another home win on Saturday with a close 37-34 score. Makayla Firebaugh scored 13 and Amanda Christian added 10 to pace Wood. Hannah Arnold added 9 rebounds.  The team was able to overcome 26 turnovers and a 34% shooting percentage from the field in the win, which improved the team's record to 4-1.  The varsity and JV girls will head to Washington High School on Wednesday with games at 6:00 and 7:30 PM.
