The varsity girls' team beat Liberty last night, 65-16. Brynna Nesselrodt led with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Aleeya Silver had 10 points, Emmagrace Bursey added 9 along with 5 blocked shots, and Jolie Jenkins had 8 points and 5 blocked shots. Gabby Valentinetti had 6 points and 5 steals, while Aubrey Grove had 4 points and 9 rebounds.
The boys' team lost a hard fought contest against Liberty last night, falling 55-45. Leading scorers for the Colonels were Cole Stowers and Brandon Waters each with 12 points, while Ashton Kees and Josh Borromeo both chipped in 7 points.
The Lady Colonels take the floor again Wednesday night when they travel to Jefferson. The next game for the boys will be on Friday when they host Handley.
