Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Basketball Team on their 1st round tournament win Friday night over Liberty, 56-21. Emmagrace Bursey led the scoring with 14 points. Aleeya Silver added 11 points, 7 rebounds, 7 steals and 5 blocked shots. Brynna Nesselrodt had 9 points and 5 rebounds. Gabby Valentinetti scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Aubrey Grove had 6pts, 9 rebounds and blocked 5 shots. Rounding out the scoring were Jolie Jenkins with 4 points and Katie Dooley with 3 points.
The Lady Colonels will travel to Sherando Tuesday night to play in the semifinal round with tip-off at 6. The winner will advance to both the district championship game and the Region 4C tournament.
