The varsity girls basketball team defeated local rival Handley on Friday night, 50-28, in the Donald H. Shirley Gymnasium.  Makayla Firebaugh led the Colonels with 16 points and added 3 steals and 4 rebounds. Hannah Arnold scored 11 and had 5 rebounds. Amanda Christian was 3 of 4 from three point range and finished with 9 points, and Hannah Burke led the team with 6 rebounds. All players saw extensive playing time as the team built a large lead by halftime.  The Colonels travel to St. James, MD on Wednesday night.
