JV won 5-4 at home against the Falcons in a come-from-behind win in the bottom of the 7th.

Varsity will host Handley on Tuesday while JV will travel to Handley. Both games start at 6 pm.

Fauquier beat James Wood in varsity softball 2-1 on Friday night. Kati Brannon started and threw 6 innings with 9 strikeouts. Sophia Gerald pitched 2/3 inning in relief. Brynnen Williams was 1-2 with a walk, Kati Brannon was 1-3 with a double, and Aliza Judd was 1-3. The Colonels are now 6-2 on the season and the team will host Handley on Tuesday night. 

James Wood girls tennis defeated Fauquier 9-0 on Friday night. Individual match results:

The boys and girls track teams competed at the 81st Annual Handley Track & Field Invitational at John Handley High School on Saturday. The girls placed 6th out of 22 teams (46 points) and the boys placed 13th out of 25 teams (26 points). Medal-earning performances (top 8) below:
