Fauquier beat James Wood in varsity softball 2-1 on Friday night. Kati Brannon started and threw 6 innings with 9 strikeouts. Sophia Gerald pitched 2/3 inning in relief. Brynnen Williams was 1-2 with a walk, Kati Brannon was 1-3 with a double, and Aliza Judd was 1-3. The Colonels are now 6-2 on the season and the team will host Handley on Tuesday night.
