The girls soccer team improved to 11-3-2 by beating Sherando 3-1 on Senior Night. After a scoreless first half, Mary Kimble opened up the scoring 4 minutes into the second half. She put the ball into the back of the net after Sloane Ferrebee gave her a perfect pass. Maddie Shirley scored one minute later off an assist from DeLaney Newcome. Shirley returned the favor 5 minutes later passing the ball to Newcome who put it in the goal. Sherando scored with 13 minutes left in the game. Alaynah McGuire had 9 saves in the victory. The Lady Soccer Colonels host handley for their final regular season game on Tuesday.
