James Wood varsity softball beat Warren County 14-0 in 5 innings. Kati Brannon pitched all 5 innings and threw a 1 hit shutout with 10 strikeouts. Kayleigh Harden was 4-4 with a double and 6 RBIs, Brynnen Williams was 2-4 with 2 RBIs, and Kati Brannon was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. Molly Maynard was 2-2 with 2 RBIs, Aubrey Nail was 2-2, and Aliza Judd was 1-3 with a walk and RBI. Gabby Madagan was 1-2 with a RBI. The Colonels wrapped up their regular season with a record of 15-6. The Colonels will play in a Region 4D quarterfinal game on June 2 with site and time to be determined.

JV baseball beat Warren County 13-3 to end its season at 16-4.
The James Wood JV softball Colonels were unstoppable Monday night, shutting out Warren County 14-0. Marlee Gilbert was locked in at the plate, smashing two doubles and driving in four runs to lead the offense. Marleigh Dehaven added four RBIs of her own on two hits, and Sophia Rohrbach, Karly Easterday, and Madison Funk each chipped in with big hits to keep the runs coming. On the mound, Taylor Fishel was lights out—throwing four no-hit innings, striking out eight, and allowing zero runs!The Colonels racked up eight walks, eight stolen bases, and played perfect defense behind the strong arm of Rohrbach, who led the team with nine fielding chances.
